When shopping online, feedback from other customers can help shoppers make a decision about where
to buy — and store reviews can help give shoppers added confidence. Reviews can showcase feedback
about your product quality, shipping, customer service, returns and exchanges — all of which can
influence prospective shoppers.
Google’s Store Ratings
have been helping US merchants highlight the high quality experiences other shoppers have had right
from Search, and we’re now bringing store ratings to English-language shopping searches in
Australia, Canada, India and the United Kingdom.
How store ratings can appear on Search results
Store ratings can be found in shopping search results, such as those for a selection of products
(like “Summer dress”). By clicking on your store rating in search results, shoppers can access
detailed information about your business, including reviews, shipping, return policies, and more.
This helps them make informed purchasing decisions.
How merchants can participate in store ratings
If you’re a merchant serving these countries and don’t already have store ratings enabled, you can
participate in a free Google Customer Review program or gather reviews
on various independent review websites. If you already participate in either of these, your
relevant results are already eligible to appear with a store rating.
